Wildflowers along hiking trail.
Coastal sage scrub consists of low growing, aromatic and generally soft-leaved shrubs that give the hills around the inland valleys of San Diego their soft, gray-green color.

Welcome to Coastal Sage Zone

From the Pacific Ocean on the West to Hwy 15 on the East, North along the coast to Hwy 56 and South to Coronado Island, the Coastal Sage Zone serves more than 50 units in the BSA San Diego-Imperial Council.
